The Enchanted Green of Dreams

The final project to be produced was packaging for our object, mine being the watch. And so I decided to put together a little box that contained the watch as well as a golf ball, which would come along as an added bonus for the customer when purchasing the watch. The box itself was to look like a ball was stuck in the green, which would engage the customer to open the box to see what was inside. That being the watch. The picture of the watch below the golf ball inside of the box can be seen below...

The lid of the box I constructed using chipboard, just like the rest of the entire box. But to make the top of the box more like a green, I used some artificial grass like substance in order to make the top appear more like a green. This picture can be seen below...

Maybe now looking back upon it, there are a few things I could do to improve upon it, and make sure that the box looked more like a green, and so the consumer knew whether or not they were buying a ball or a watch. The overall look came out to look like this...picture seen below...

And a top view can be seen below...

Overall I liked it. I just think now knowing what I know, that the design could be adjusted to make it more appealing to the consumer.

  3. I really liked your idea for this project. It connected nicely to your second project. However, it seemed more like a package for the golf ball than it did for the watch, I think your packaging would have been stronger if you could see the watch through the top. Really nice grass effect too.
